Shaun Chan Kok Hoe is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Eastern Epic Capitals, where he plays a central role in strengthening the firm’s institutional platform and supporting its long‑term growth. In his capacity as COO, Shaun oversees firm‑wide operations, governance, and regulatory coordination, working closely with the leadership team to ensure robust operational discipline and strong organisational foundations.
At Eastern Epic Capitals, Shaun is actively involved in building scalable internal processes, enhancing compliance and risk frameworks, and supporting cross‑functional teams as the firm expands its venture and growth investment activities. His responsibilities span operational management, stakeholder coordination, and engagement with external partners, including fund administrators, advisors, and regulators.
Prior to joining Eastern Epic Capitals, Shaun held senior leadership roles including cofounder and Director at XCS Holdings, a technology company focused on AI‑driven and digital solutions for the blockchain, Web3, real estate and SME sectors.
Shaun graduated from University of London and holds a Master of Foreign Policy from Tsinghua University.
